What It Is
The immune system tells the thyroid to make too much hormone.
Symptoms
● Same as hyperthyroidism
● Bulging eyes (in some cases)
● Enlarged thyroid
Treatment
● Anti-thyroid medications
● Sometimes radioactive iodine or surgery
